RED PEPPER DIP

Ingredients

 

  • 3 red peppers (capsicum)
  • 1 small red onion
  • 3/4 cup walnuts
  • 3 garlic cloves
  • 1/4 cup olive oil
  • 1/2 tsp. cayenne pepper
  • 1/2 tsp. cumin
  • Juice of 1/2 lemon
  • Sea salt to taste

 

Method


Roast the peppers for 10-12 minutes at 350 degrees on a greased baking tray, turning approximately every 4 minutes
When finished, peel off the skin from the peppers and remove the seeds and stem.
Chop and sauté the onions for 3-5 minutes
Now add all the ingredients to the food processor.
