Flush fat and lose more weight

Your body needs enough water every day to keep hydrated and cleanse itself of unwanted materials. Fat deposits that form in the body can be tough to break down and eliminate, but proper nutrition and exercise help greatly with this.

Fat is broken down when the body uses its fat deposits to produce energy, the triglycerides in the fat cells are removed. Then, these are broken down into fatty acids and glycerols, absorbed into your muscle tissue and internal organs where they are then broken down even further through various chemical processes. If the products leftover from these chemical processes are not used by the body as energy, they are then considered waste products and need to be removed from the body. This is where the role of water comes in.

The Role of Water

Water is the vehicle used to remove these waste products from the body. The leftover materials from the fat breakdown are then filtered out of your organs by the water that you drink. The water carries the waste to your bladder where it is then expelled from your body through your urine.  Our body truly is amazing. It is important to drink enough water each day to keep you hydrated and facilitate the breakdown and elimination of fat cells. Many sources claim that you should be consuming around 8 glasses of water per day, but this number can largely vary depending on your size, how often you are exercising and even how hot it is outside.   Upon rising i religiously drink around 500ml of room temperature filtered water and eat or drink nothing else for around 45mins (this time can vary).   No matter what is happening in life i am never to busy, depressed, excited, tired or any number of reasons to not drink my water every day.  That morning flush is imperative to good health- a corner stone, and one that everyone can afford to do.   Flushing your body with water each morning is one of the best preventatives for stroke- it simply thins the blood, how easy is that. It is also a method used to reduce triglycerides and blood sugars, which of course when elevated are the corner stone for ill health and all manner of metabolic disorders- to drink your water! Please.   Try and keep drinking water consistently throughout the day- not soda, fruit juices or other sugary drinks as these can actually dehydrate your body even more.  I mean really, i know its boring, but water really is the only beverage the human body required and should be given.  Often a lack of energy and even headaches throughout the day are simply caused by mild dehydration. It is a good idea to make a conscious effort to drink more water. A little extra is definitely better than not enough!

The Fat Flush Water

  • 2 Litres of filtered water
  • 1 Tangerine, sectioned
  • 1/2 Grapefruit, sliced
  • 1 Cucumber, sliced
  • 4 Peppermint or Spearmint Leaves- any sort of mint.
  • Ice, (made from filtered water)

Pop it all into a large jug before bed and drink throughout the entire next day. Please try to use organic produce for this, if it is unavailable to you, thoroughly wash the produce before adding it to the water.
The tangerine increases your sensitivity to insulin, stabilizes blood sugar and because they are high in vitamin C, you increase the fat burning during exercise

Tangerine tangerines not only helps to prevent obesity, but also offers protection against type 2 diabetes, and even atherosclerosis, the underlying disease responsible for most heart attacks and strokes.  It increases your sensitivity to insulin, stabilizes blood sugar, and stimulates genes to burn fat.

The grapefruit will increase metabolic energy, burn fat and increase energy. PubMed studies show that half of a fresh grapefruit eaten before meals was associated with significant weight loss. In metabolic syndrome patients the effect was also seen with grapefruit products. Insulin resistance was improved with fresh grapefruit.

Cucumber juice contains a hormone which is needed by the cells of the pancreas for producing insulin which has been found to be beneficial to diabetic patients. Researchers found that a compound called sterols in cucumbers may help reduce cholesterol levels

There you have it!

Please remember that exercise is a major game player in weight loss- get out there and move your butt- your body will love you for it.  Get out there and enjoy life while you have it.  Start with a simple morning walk, breath in that morning air and give thanks.   Proper nutrition also plays a huge role, it’s not about restricting calories- not at all, in fact a high fat diet – full of the right fats, good fats (speak to your Nutritionist) will fill you up, plump your skin, fuel your brain and have you burning more calories than ever before.
